 For many years, Dr. Misambo Pierre Asabi and his family had lived through uncertainty. From the dangers of rebellion in Congo, to displacement and hardship in Kenya, their lives had been shaped by moments when the future seemed unclear and the path forward uncertain. Yet through each chapter of that journey, one constant remained—the quiet faith that God was guiding their steps. Eventually, that path led to a new and unexpected destination. In June of 2010 , Misambo arrived in the United States , first to New York, and then settled in Southern California . They were moments filled with both gratitude and yet, a future that was once again undetermined. Though he had served for years as a physician and surgeon in Africa, the transition into a new country and medical system brought its own challenges.
